The DCV225A Modular Pyramid Ice Maker is an ice maker that produces pyramid ice cubes. These ice cubes are produced using a vertical evaporater inside the machine that produces a sheet of ice. This sheet of ice is then dropped from the top of the ice machine to the bottom smashing the sheet of ice in to seperate crystalline cubes. This cubes are in the shapes of pyramids with a square bottom and give the benefit of a quicker cooling rate. This is why this unit is ideal for commercial use within establishments where drinks would be served with ice cubes like bars and nightclubs

The added benefit of the vertical evaporter is that it was produced with an ultra smooth finish in order to prevent limescale deposits building up within the machine. This especially applies to ares with hard water. The unit therefore will last a lot longer when constantly being used. 

The exterior of the unit is produced with a catering grade stainless steel which gives it strength and also adds a hygienic layer. Stainless steel will not allow for rust to produce on the machine and also is very easy to clean down.
